It has been a long time since I was in contact with you. Probably my fault, as I was very busy working on my games and raising my kids. Please take no offense at my absence.

I hope you are OK and this mail finds you well. Speaking of mail, this is an odd way to stay in contact - with a mailing list?

Let me tell you how you happen to be on this mailing list. I just stumbled upon an old backup of my blog lemming.name, which I abandoned 16 years ago. Quite some time, but I journaled all my ideas and projects in that blog, and I had a blast doing it. Remember, this was way before Facebook and antisocial media (as I call it).

It was my little playground, and it sparked tremendous success for me. I founded my first company, blogsear.ch, through my blog. I found my first investor and my co-founders for Mister Spex through my blog. I kept in contact with my best friends, like Martin Zeller, through my blog.

It was amazing. And now, living in the middle of nowhere - Brandenburg - I miss the times when I could spin up some ideas, blast them out to the world, and get some feedback. This was magic for me.

And I want you to be part of that magic again and to stay in contact with you through this mailing list and through my blog. Please reply to this email or, even better, write me a comment on my blog. I really look forward to communicating with you more.
